Hape Ceremony

Hape (Rapé pronounced Ha-pay.) Is a Sacred plant medicine used in healing ceremonies. Known as snuff, It is finely ground medicinal herbs and tobacco (not the kind you get in stores. This is very pure and clean, as tobacco is one of the indigenous sacred plants, also known as mapacho.) 

Hape clears the mind, emotions, as well as the physical aspect of the body. Hape purges the body so you can possibly feel any (or none) of the following: Runny nose, watery eyes, a few tears tingling in your face head, and or whole body, nausea, possible vomiting, need to move bowels. All of these are a way for the body to purge what does not serve it.

We begin by Setting the intention for the session with traditional prayer. After we finish we take a few deep breaths the Hape is administered. We will sit in meditation or move into our journey.   Once the meditation/journey is complete we end with a gratitude closing prayer.

 It will feel similar to water going up your nose.

This plant medicine can take you deep into meditation, or any other healing session. (Hape is a NONhalusigenic).

Hape is administered into the nose by the facilitator with a pipe called a tepi. There are a few different variations for this ceremony, the one we use is based on the healing you are seeking.

We will travel for groups, and travel fees based on the distance of the location.
